Pork Cutlet Curry by Coco Ichibanya

Coco Ichibanya is the top curry rice restaurant in Japan. Its first branch here in the Philippines is in Estancia Mall in Pasig.

I am a very big fan of katsu. It’s one of my most favorite things in this world. So, pork cutlet curry is what I ordered.

Although, I love katsu, I am not too friendly with curry. I have low tolerance for spicy food. I actually don’t know how to critique curry since we’re not friends but this is good curry. I’ve only tasted a handful so this may not be really helpful. But, out of the handful that I’ve tasted, this is the best. For PHP 340, you definitely eat what you paid for.

Plus, katsu is cooked beautifully and so is the rice. I do hope that they have the option to change your white rice to brown. But, since you’re committing the sin, why not go full force, no?

My friend ordered the chicken omelet curry and it looked beautiful. I might try that some time.

Sorry for leaving good curry behind.
