It was a normal workshop day in the office. Most people are excited to gain new knowledge and apply what they learned. The facilitator is well-versed in the subject.
There’s a shift from calling it business continuity to business resilience. Continuity meant that it’s reactive in nature while resilience is more on the preventive side.
Then you realize, would that be really helpful in life? Should you be in constant preventive mode? Should you always try to avoid trouble by preparing enough for it?
Wouldn’t being in preventive mode stop you from living your life fully? But, what risks and threats are we talking about? Would it be in terms of social interaction or health and safety?
And how do you marry being able to enjoy the present moment and being prepared to continue after being hit by a disaster?
