Vigan Heritage Village

In 1999, UNESCO added Vigan to the list of best preserved examples of European colonial towns in Asia. From then on, it has been one of the shining pearls of Philippine tourism.

Most people know Vigan beauty during the day, we arrived in Vigan at 5:30 AM when the sun hasn’t greeted us yet.


Wandering around on cobblestone lined streets with architecture that will remind you of Europe.


Is it Barcelona? Seville? This area transports you into a place other than the Philippines.


Some structures are recently restored, especially those near Calle Crisologo. Others are left to their original materials.


Home to one of the most prominent families in Vigan.


And true ro Spanish urban planning, the town is centered on the Vigan Cathedral. Across of it is Plaza Salcedo with the provincial capitol on the other side of it.
