Daily Prompt: A Plot of Earth

The prompt said:

You’re given a plot of land and have the financial resources to do what you please. What’s the plan?

The question is, I don’t know how big this plot is. We don’t even have an idea of its relative size. So, I will just assume that it has the same size as an American football field.

I will build my own house. It will be Greek in architecture and with three floors. The first floor will have the living room, dining room, kitchen, entertainment room (with theater system and different game consoles) and a mini hall for parties and gatherings. The second floor will have five rooms – one for each sibling (and children) and another for guests. The top floor will have a roof deck joined to the master’s bedroom where my parents will stay.

It will also have a regular sized swimming pool with a patio beside it for outdoor barbecue parties.

It will also have a vegetable garden for planting crops. Nothing beats having your food and ingredients fresh out of the garden. Also, my mother loves to cook and take care of plants.

If possible, I would also like to have a little petting zoo with domestic animals that the children could play with. Aside from that, there could also be an area for poultry and other livestock.

It will be like a little mansion and rest house. It will be a place of choice when we want to escape our normal lives in the city.
